Uncontacted Indian TribeResearches did an overflight over the western Amazon jungle, and spotted a tribe who has never had contact with the civilized world. According to the article, over 100 of these tribes still exist, and most of them are in the Amazon jungle, but are in danger due to illegal logging.

“These pictures are further evidence that uncontacted tribes really do exist,” Survival director Stephen Corry said.

“The world needs to wake up to this, and ensure that their territory is protected in accordance with international law. Otherwise, they will soon be made extinct.” Associated Press
